Bus reversing system - also suitable for trucks and buses.
Driving in big cities quickly becomes exhausting and dangerous, especially for large vehicles. The traffic is getting heavier and situations can quickly become confusing. A bus reversing system is always recommended for coaches, as can be seen in the graphic in our example. The driver is supported by the use of a technical aid. For example, you can recognize a car that is in a blind spot in good time. The bus reversing system also helps to locate passers-by who are crossing the street at blind spots. Without the help of technology, accidents happen more quickly here.
You can also use the reversing system for “normal” driving. It is also suitable for smaller buses such as a VW bus. You will quickly appreciate the system as a valuable support on the road.
Easy to install and convenient to use: the bus reversing system
The so-called 360 degree monitoring is highly recommended for buses. Here, a total of 4 cameras ensure almost complete surveillance of the area around your vehicle or bus. You install the first camera in the rear area and helps, for example, when navigating backwards. The front camera is also suitable for monitoring the surroundings during normal driving. In our example, the wide-angle camera captures the passer-by and shows the video signal on the monitor.
The all-round surveillance is rounded off by the two side cameras that you place on the exterior mirrors. Our graphic shows the parked yellow car that might otherwise have been in the blind spot. As you can see, with the reversing system you can handle tricky situations more easily or avoid them completely in advance. The rear camera monitors the van, for example, which you cannot necessarily see in the exterior mirrors if you are too close. In a situation like the one shown in our graphic, a reversing system helps, especially with large vehicles such as buses.
The four wide-angle cameras enable almost complete surveillance of the area around the vehicle. Some of the reversing systems also show the distance from obstacles in the colors red, yellow and green, as you know from a traffic light.
Depending on the type of monitor, you can also use storage media to record your journey. This is very helpful in the event of an accident, as you may be able to clarify who is at fault more quickly. You also get a guarantee of up to 5 years when you buy a reversing system.
